Roles That Can Use Impersonation: Agent, Manager, Admin, Owner


Impersonation is a feature that allows users to temporarily take over other people’s accounts. Different permissions levels allow to impersonate different roles. To learn more about roles & permissions, read this article.

How To Impersonate Team Members



To impersonate team members, go to Settings -> Team (only available to Admins and Owners). One the new page, find the user you want to impersonate and click on the ellipsis on the far right under “Actions”. Then, you’ll see three options: Change Roles, Impersonate, and Deactivate. Click on the “Impersonate”.

Then, Zendo will reload and you’ll be able to see the other user’s workspace and take action.

To stop impersonation, click on the “switch back” button found at the right top.

How To Impersonate Clients



To impersonate clients, go to Clients tab found on the left sidebar. On the new page, find the user you want to impersonate and click on the ellipsis on the far right under “Actions”. Then, you’ll see two options: Impersonate and Delete. Click on the “Impersonate”.

Then, Zendo will reload and you’ll be able to see your client’s workspace and take action. Remember that in this mode, you can't make purchases in the client's name.

You can also impersonate clients by clicking on the specific client in the Clients tab. You’ll be taken to another page where you can find all the information pertaining to the client. On the right, next to the client’s avatar, you’ll see a ninja icon. Click on it to impersonate the client.

To stop impersonation, click on the “switch back” button found at the right top.



Note that you can't impersonate unregistered users.
